At the ASIS-YP event, Professor Wandt will clarify and expound the reality of online privacy and applicable security concerns for us security practitioners – who are not cyber-security experts (even those YP millennials).
Ever wonder about the extent of facial recognition? How much is really known about our web browsing on a mobile device? What marketing and social media companies really now about your company’s business practices? This realistic understanding of security implications, especially in a time of BYOD (bring your own device), social media and global interconnected-ness, is a crucial skill in the career development of any security professional. This presentation will provide the knowledge and background to safeguard our companies, employers and assets more thoroughly and responsibly.
