Please join the NYC Chapter for the March general meeting on Friday, March 4th at The Yale Club. The meeting time is 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. A sit-down lunch will be served with soft drinks; a cash bar is available for additional beverages.

Business casual dress for men – Collared shirts, turtlenecks or sweaters; dress slacks, khakis or corduroy trousers; and socks.

Registration for individuals, groups and tables of ten can be made below. Ticket purchases for 10, 20 and 30 will automatically reserve a table for the company. Attendees who indicate CPP status when registering online will receive a certificate at the meeting for one (1) CPP continuing education credit.

Speaker Bio:
Britt Slabinski is from Northampton, MA. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout at the age of fourteen and upon graduation from high school enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He attended boot camp in Orlando, FL and later Radioman Class “A” School in San Diego, CA. Fulfilling a life-long dream to be a U.S. Navy SEAL, he was accepted into Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training (BUD/S) at Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Center, Naval Amphibious Base (NAB), Coronado, CA and graduated BUD/S Class 164 in January of 1990.
Britt has various military and civilian qualifications; NSW Scout Sniper, Military Free Fall Parachute Jump Master and a national certification as an Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic. He is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (SEA) and Command Leadership School.
His operational assignments include SEAL Team FOUR, NAB, Little Creek, VA from 1990 to 1993; Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG), aka SEAL Team SIX, Dam Neck, VA as a senior enlisted leader and Ground Force Commander from 1993 to 2006; and Command Master Chief of NSWDG Tactical Development and Evaluation Squadron TWO from 2006 to 2008. He served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor at the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) and Joint Reconnaissance and Targeting Force, Washington, DC from 2008 to 2010 and Command Master Chief, Naval Special Warfare Group TWO, Little Creek, VA from 2010 to 2012. In his final tour of duty, he served as the director of the Naval Special Warfare Safety Assurance and Analysis Program. He has completed over 400 combat deployments in support of the Global War on Terrorism to include: OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM; and OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM.
His military decorations include: the NAVY CROSS, our Nation’s second highest award for valor in combat; the Navy and Marine Corp Life Saving Medal; five Bronze Star Medals with Combat “Valor” distinguishing device; two Combat Action Ribbons; and numerous other personal and unit level awards.
Britt retired from the U.S. Navy after twenty five years of service in June of 2014 and started 2XS Consulting, LLC in September 2015, a consultancy specializing in Crisis Leadership and Critical Decision Making.
He is an ambassador for the Navy SEAL Foundation, a passionate advocate for advanced treatment and recovery techniques for military personnel who suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and is a past lecturer at the NSW Platoon Leaders Course and the Joint Forces Staff College.
Britt has one son, Bryce who is also an Eagle Scout and attends Ohio State University.
