Manny Gomez is a former Principal Relief Supervisor and Special Agent with the FBI. He investigated terrorism and espionage cases as an agent in the National Security Division. He was a certified undercover agent and successfully completed Agent Survival School. He is a recipient of the prestigious FBI Agent of the Year award for identifying and neutralizing clandestine activities by hostile intelligence services against the United States. As a result of his investigations, members of the U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC) received significant and substantial intelligence that was extensively used by the Executive Branch of the Government in formulating effective and productive foreign policy. Manny worked closely in these investigations with the USIC, including the CIA, NSA and DOD.
Manny is also a former Sergeant in the NYPD where he supervised patrol and investigative activities of numerous police officers, detectives and civilian personnel. Manny worked as a uniformed and plainclothes officer in combating narcotics trafficking, violent crimes, and quality of life concerns. He has executed over 300 arrests and received Departmental recognition on eight separate occasions.
Manny has a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree and is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law where he was on the Dean’s list. He is admitted to the New York and New Jersey Bar. One of his proudest achievements was serving honorably in the United States Marine Corps infantry.
Manny started MG Security Services almost a decade ago from scratch. In that time frame MG Security Services has become a multi-state security and private investigations company with close to 1000 employees.
Manny is the Chairman of the Board of the National Law Enforcement Associates (NLEA), sits on the Security Council of ASIS, is on the Board of Governors of American Association of Professional Law Enforcement (AAPLE) and an exclusive member of NSA (National Security Alliance).
